Hardware for the DCC controller

As for buying the parts, I buy most from eBay (and usually China unless I am in a hurry for parts). If you can solder then the STM32F103 blue pill is the cheapest option. If you cannot solder I suggest the STM32F411RE Nucleo board option. The cheapest place I know of for the STM32F411RE board is Farnell in the UK.

The H-bridge depends on model gauge and how large the layout is. I am currently checking out a couple of new H-Bridges which make the build simpler (less wires).
