Having now played a little more and got my Windows 10 laptop computer usb interface working with the LC-DCC STM32F103 I have noticed the following;
1 With Track Control screen open, I cannot close it either with the the "X" in top right, "Close" in right click drop down menu, or with "Exit LC-DCC" button on opening panel. Only way of exiting is to use Windows task manager.
2 Having used "save settings" with some engine windows defined and open, next time I start LC-DCC and "Load settings" the layout map appears but not the engine windows, I have to re create these each time as they do not seem to be saved. Also would be nice if screen opened with last used settings instead of having to load each time upon start.
Also I can't create any "New Engine Windows" if a setting is reloaded from saved file. Only with a new start window before saving can engine windows be created. When I select this option in drop down menu after opening an existing setting file, engine window opens asking for new engine address but after entering and clicking OK, box closes but no engine window appears. Very strange, I've tried restarting program and 2 different computer and resetting controller but no longer able to create new engine window on a restored .dsf file.
3 Having created some "Add Point Control" buttons on the layout map, the buttons change green upon selecting as one would expect, however next time settings file reloaded then although the buttons appear as before, they no longer change colour when selected.
4. The function button in engine window "delete" does not seem to delete the button. Only way is to delete whole window and start again.
5. Would be good if Windows "configuration" was remembered, I seem to have to re enter Function repeats 255 every time I start. Also for some reason "128 speed steps" window is greyed out when I open Windows configuration. I've tried with BT on and off and resetting the STM32F but windows always comes up with default start settings. If I use BT then the 128 speed steps seemed to be saved in configuration but not the 255 Function repeats.
Hope these comments help in further development of this excellent program, I realise it is early days
regards
Alan
